Conscious Society for Social Development (CSSD) is a non- political, non-partisan, profitless secular local level human welfare non- governmental organization established in 2057 B.S and registered in District Administration Office Kailali and affiliated with Social Welfare Council. From the time of its establishment, CSSD has undertaken various projects in some of the remotest parts of Kailali district. The organization is actively working in the areas of Disaster Risk Reduction and advocacy, education, livelihood, community development, community empowerment, capacity development.  It promotes good governance and accountability through implementation of relevant programmes.
