job description
  • Assisting in the Procurement Process: Support the procurement team in sourcing, evaluating, and selecting vendors or suppliers based on quality, price, terms, and delivery options.
  • Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors or suppliers regarding product availability, pricing, delivery schedules, and any other relevant information.
  • Purchase Order Management: Assist in the creation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Documentation and Filing: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and other relevant documents. Organize and file documents for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
  • Research and Market Analysis: Research potential vendors, market trends, and product specifications to support informed decision-making by the procurement team.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors or suppliers, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting in Negotiations: Support the procurement team in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization.


 

Education description
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the related field.
Other Specific Requirement
  • Cost Control: Assist in monitoring procurement expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
  • Assisting in RFP/RFQ Processes: Participate in the preparation of requests for proposals (RFPs) or requests for quotations (RFQs), including gathering requirements, drafting documents, and evaluating vendor responses.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as finance, operations, and inventory management to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process optimization and efficiency gains within the procurement function, and contribute to the implementation of improvement initiatives.
  •  Ad Hoc Support: Provide additional support to the procurement team as needed, including assisting with special projects, conducting data analysis, or performing other related tasks.
